No recipe to offer but you can surf the website of The Star Online.

This cake or kueh is a delicious dessert that almost every children and adults like. Though it is not very difficult to make, it is a bit tedious to steam the cake in these tiny tea cups, batch by batch. So, I got mine from the hawker stall. 10 tiny pieces for RM1.50 only. Isn’t it nice to stay in Penang, Malaysia where everything is soooo cheap?

Is that what they call these gummy coconut yummies? All along, I thought Kueh Kosui was those triangular banana wrapped steamed kuih with fried brown-sugar coconut fillings. Ooo.. I love anything with coconut, esp fresh grated coconut. No fair, too cheap! In KL it costs 30/40sen for a piece twice that size. I wanna move to Penang, but my Hokkien sucks and I will miss the shopping an pollution here too much. :P .

Percolator - That one is kueh koci. There are two version, kueh koci and kueh koci santan (with extra white part). Kueh koci is made with glutinous rice flour and the filling is grated coconut with gula melaka. This one is using tapioca and rice flour, I think. Hahaha, that’s the reason why I never uproot myself for any country/state.

Piggy - Poor you, never mind, I show you photos till you cry. Hahaha.

Toru - Welcome! I have many other type of kuehs featured earlier. I love kuehs.

Angelic - Of course, I will most look forward to meet up one day.
