I think Song River has been aroung for more than 30 years. More like 50 -60years - according to my old dad who is already 79 years old.

Being in KL I do really miss my old Penang food. KL char keow teow is notfight at all - worse of all they use vegetable oil and no "bar-ewe-porh".

For poh-piah, I try not to miss the one at the Padang - the real Padang stall and not the one at Johore Street on the other end of the field. But must eat there as the gravy must go with eat to taste best.

Pretty hard to find good "Orh Chien" nowadays even in PG. Some food also gone from the Penang scene - like the "Choa Chor Mee" - use to have on at the road side stall in Chulia Street near Gu Guan Tang (that's Cheap Side)
