Opp. Lam Wah Ee Curry Mee – Perfect breakfast
Normally on weekends, my toddler doesn’t wake up that early. So, I don’t get to go out for yamcha, dimsum and the likes. However, my hubby is an early bird and will be out of the home either to the wet markets or hawker stalls.
This will be my treat as weekend breakfast. On weekdays, I don’t wake up that early for breakfast so my lunch is also counted as breakfast. Therefore, when I get a packet of hot steaming curry mee, I will be very pleased with my weekends.
My dear hubby knows I adore prawns so he normally order extra prawns for me. There is something wicked about eating curry mee. Firstly, it is filled with prawns. Secondly, there are cockles. Thirdly, the pig’s coagulated blood. And lastly, the spiciness. All equally sinful, health wise.
This curry mee is my all time favourite. Found along Jalan Tan Sri Teh Ewe Lim and Green Lane corner. Across Lam Wah Ee’s hospital. Available only in the morning. You need to park your car at the petrol station (Caltex, I think). The coffeeshop is that obscure, dark, hidden corner sheltered with zinc. Plenty of good stuffs there for breakfast.
P/S : I changed template again. I hope it looks fine with your browser?

I have read quite a number of bloggers from Penang on food. No to amuse but your directions to the destination given is not helpful to us from outstation. To find the place from your description is not possible. Would appreciate if you can give detail descriptions on how to “get there” even for alien like us. Thanks .
