932 is the number for money. It is a hot number for the Da Ma Cai, Magnum 4-D and Sports Toto punters. During Chinese New Year, it is even hotter and usually, you cannot even bet on this number if you are too late as the gambling companies only sell a certain limit of bets.
But this post is not about lucky number or fortune telling. It is about food. So, do you know what is 932? The next time you go to one of the coffee shops in Penang, just tell them you want 932. In Hokkien, we call it ‘kau sah jee’.
I like 932. Both money and also what I ordered from the coffee shop. Since I have no photo of 932 yet, I shall reveal what it is next time.
So, how many people knows what is 932?
Since it is almost Chinese New Year, go bet 932 and hope you strike it rich. Usually 8932 is a hot number and my late mother had strike this number before.
Talking about Chinese New Year, I am amuse to see these jelly water (like aiskrim malaysia) being made to look like pineapples, strawberries, bananas and lychees. People are really innovative nowadays. They can make a short cut and offer these to their ancestors and gods without spending too much on fresh fruits which are a must for offerings at the altars of Taoists home during Chinese New Year.
Talking about fresh fruits, I bought a carton of Sunshine Pon Kam XL size from Sunshine Farlim last night. The taste is not too bad, just in case you are looking for sweet honey mandarin oranges or tangerines. And Sunshine Farlim just opened their new outlet this evening (Saturday at 4.18 pm). I know ‘cos my sons needed some last minute purchase of stationeries and the place is packed eventhough the new store is not opened yet. Doh…everyone standing outside waiting at 3.20 pm. No, I didn’t wait ‘cos the class starts at 4.30 pm so we cabut. I am not so jinjang anyway. Hehehe.
